SBC is now live on the Radius Network.
Radius is a high-performance stablecoin payments network, bringing fast, reliable, programmable value transfer to applications and agents that require efficiency at scale.
SBC is the native stablecoin on Radius. Together, SBC and Radius enable a system where payments move as seamlessly as data.
Radius enables entirely new forms of digital commerce. By pairing SBC with Radius’s high-throughput architecture, developers can now unlock new modes of value transfer around agentic payments and microtransactions.
Radius: The Network for Limitless Economic Bandwidth
Radius is designed to operate at the scale, speed, and cost to enable new forms of monetization and payment workflows, which were previously impractical due to latency and fees.
The network unlocks a new payment stack that can support the speed and cost profile required for machine-to-machine transactions. Radius supports:
Real-time settlement in under 500 milliseconds
Fees of around $0.0001 per transaction
Linear scalability to ensure transaction fees remain near-zero
This level of performance enables agentic payments and makes it possible to monetize machine-to-machine interactions. Radius clears the path for truly scalable, data-driven agentic systems.
Radius supports 1,000 tps out of the gate. If you’re interested in seeing the scaling capabilities up close, you can get in touch with the team.
Radius is built on the research of Project Hamilton and OpenCBDC, joint research collaborations between MIT's Digital Currency Initiative and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
SBC on Radius
SBC is natively issued on Radius as the core stablecoin of the network and is used to fund gas budgets. This unified design removes the traditional separation between “payment asset” and “network fee asset,” simplifying developer experience and eliminating unnecessary friction.
By collapsing payments and network fees into a single stable asset, Radius enables developers to reason about economics with the same clarity they reason about compute. This is especially important for high-frequency use cases like API metering, autonomous agents, and streaming payments, where even small sources of friction compound quickly at scale.
We envision Radius unlocking a new class of applications: AI agents that negotiate and settle services autonomously, platforms that pay creators per visit, and real-time API metering based on actual data used.
The SBC Developer Toolkit for Radius
SBC brings a payments toolkit to the Radius Network, designed to make stablecoin payments and integrations seamless for developers. We want to make it easy to start building on Radius right away. The SBC toolkit on includes the following open-source developer tools:
AppKit – An app template to quickly spin up stablecoin payment flows. AppKit comes preconfigured with popular wallet infra providers and the SBC Paymaster to enable gasless transactions. Developers can easily enable SBC's custom paymaster and bundler infrastructure without needing to manage the underlying complexities of ERC-4337 standards.
Paymaster – A customizable paymaster implementation with Radius support. Includes smart contracts and bundler infrastructure for account abstraction setups on Radius, useful for sponsoring gas and abstracting costs from end users.
x402 Facilitator - Enable per-call API billing, pay-per-visit content access, continuous payout streams, and machine-to-machine payments using SBC’s x402 Facilitator with Radius support.
x402 SDK - An SDK for the x402 HTTP payment protocol using SBC. Gate your API behind micropayments, or pay for x402-gated APIs — in a few lines of code.
Refer to our docs for more information on Radius and our supported tooling.
Getting started with SBC on Radius
SBC is live on Radius and available on the Brale platform and API.
To quickly get started experimenting with Radius, check out the Radius Dashboard and sign up to create a wallet. Then make sure to claim $1 of free SBC through the faucet. This enables 10,000 free transactions on Radius.

Attention now shifts to what builders can create when cost and scalability are no longer the bottleneck. Reach out on Telegram and let us know what you’re building. We’re excited to support builders that want to leverage the performance and economic efficiency of the Radius Network.
