We're excited to announce that SBC is now integrated with LayerZero’s interoperability infrastructure to enable seamless transfers between blockchains. This integration lets users easily move SBC between supported blockchain networks.
SBC on Ethereum, Base, Celo, Optimism, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Solana are now interoperable through a native mint and burn process powered by LayerZero.
What is LayerZero?
LayerZero is a leading omnichain protocol that utilizes the Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard to enable native crosschain transfers. LayerZero’s infrastructure facilitates the direct minting and burner of SBC on supported networks. This mint/burn process ensures that native supply is maintained in a secure and transparent manner.
SBC’s integration with LayerZero reduces the inefficiencies of liquidity fragmentation, so if you have SBC on one chain and need to use it on another, you no longer need a liquidity pool to facilitate the transfer.
Transfer on Stargate
With the LayerZero integration, SBC is now supported on Stargate, the largest fully composable native asset bridge in DeFi. With Stargate, users can transfer native SBC crosschain with zero slippage and instant guaranteed finality, while developers can leverage its unified liquidity layer to build robust crosschain systems.

With just a few clicks, users can have SBC natively transferred to a different chain. Developers can utilize Stargate to build stablecoin flows without having the user navigate multiple networks.
Interoperable SBC
We think it's important to work on making stablecoin payments seamless and free. By making SBC interoperable, we can now simplify the user experience by abstracting away the complexities of interacting with multiple blockchain networks.
We’re excited to see how developers utilize these capabilities for chain abstraction to improve the user experience for stablecoin payments. If you’re interested in building with SBC and LayerZero, feel free to reach out on Telegram.
